RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Strict dress code is enforced on all duty days.
  • Uniforms are provided by NGO, free of cost, to all members.
  • As the uniforms and ID cards are embossed with police logo they must not be misused.
  • Though a volunteer is entitled to flexi timing, he is expected to put in at least 8 hours of service.
  • NO monetary compensation is paid for volunteering.
  • Volunteer wishing to take a holiday on duty days must notify the same in advance.
  • Volunteers are expected to avoid use of their cell phones while serving on duty days.
  • Particular attention is to be given to children and elderly.

  • Political or religious propaganda is strictly prohibited on social network sites within the Group. As the volunteers are from linguistic communities, the same should be avoided. Strict action can be taken against volunteers not adhering to above rule.
  • Volunteers are advised to volunteer at their own risk. The NGO will not be liable for fatal accidents, if any, caused due to negligence of volunteer.
  • Volunteers are requested not to take law into their own hands while dealing with unruly mobs. Untoward incidence, if any, are to be brought to the notice of police immediately.
  • The core committee reserves its rights to disqualify any volunteer for unsolicited behaviour, without assigning any reason, in general interest of the NGO.
  • NGO UNDERTAKES HIGH RISK VENTURES
  • The NGO/and or its committee will NOT be responsible for any accidents/incidents/death/disability etc, monetarily or otherwise, occurring during the course of its activities.
  • Good swimmers, less than 18 years old can participate only after getting authorised permission from their Parents/Guardians/caretakers etc.
  • Non swimmers can participate only as “SWAYAMSEVAKS”
  • Onetime Membership fees are 500/- and yearly contribution of Rs 100/- from each member.
  • A SELF DECLARATION has to be signed compulsorily, to complete the Membership formalities.
  • Any member found taking money for Visarjan duty or extra gracious benefits will have his membership terminated.
  • Membership fees once paid are Non refundable, even iff the member quits the NGO on his own.
  • Members signing on the Membership form are deemed to be aware about NGO’s Rules & Regulations posted / updated on its website.
  • The Rules on the website are Non-exhaustive but also inclusive. Members are advised to be periodically updated for any changes in Rules of the NGO and brief themselves with respect to NGOs Privacy Policy and Disclaimer highlighted on its website..
